Hey there!
YES! It is true that Indian weddings are a week long process or have three/four days celebations ( especially Hindu weddings) . We had quite a few ceremonies for this wedding and a lot of sleepless nights when all the “young crowd” would gather in one room.
All weddings give you an opportunity to meet different set of people from all walks of life, who some how are connected with the couple getting married. This wedding was no different from this point. I met so many different personalties here – teenagers and their love interests; brothers and their protective instincts; mothers and their hopes & dreams for their kids; siblings and their unconditional love for each other; hilarious couple and their funny stories and last but not the least an Indian American who was worried her accent would get too Indian’ized by the time she returns back to Seattle.
Right now, as I’m penning down my post the happily married couple have settled down in their new home are starting their new journey together. I wish the couple lifetime of happiness since both of them are amazing ( Well I can surely say that about the bride, not too sure about to groom.. 😛 just kidding)
Just to give a taste of these ceremonies below are some shots. Hope you all will enjoy these pictures 🙂
