Favorite Spring Lip Liners
Hello Gorgeous! I can smell spring already ❤ Out of all the seasons I love Spring the most 🙂 🙂 Today I wanted to share with you my 4 favorite “Spring-time” lip liners. During this time I always look for shades that are subtle yet give me good wash of color. All the shade listed below are highly pigmented and are in a way hydrating, however, application of a lip balm prior to filling the color is strictly recommended 😉
- Max Factor – #04 Pink Princess – This is my go to lip liner for Spring. This liner gives a great color pay off & is very creamy. A perfect pinky shade for any day of the year especially for Spring time 🙂
- Max Factor – #10 Red Rush – Bold red’s are great for Winter time and even for those glamorous Summer nights, but Red’s are great for spring too in my books. All your lip needs is a hint of red to make them look youthful during this season. Red Rush does the same if you apply it sparingly. Mind you this liner is highly pigmented so if you use it generously you will get the perfect red pout.
- MAC – More To Love There are plenty of other MAC lip liners which will be perfect for Spring, but my all time favorite has to be this shade. A color that will instantly brighten your look for the Fall when used generously. However, as always I like to apply this one with a light hand for the perfect subtle mauve/blushish pink shade.
- Makeover – #03. A brand that is not well known at all, which is available in select pharmacy stores here in India, gave me one of my all time favorite nude lip. This shade is perfect for those days when you want to stay away from color and want to rock a nude lip.
Here is the video with the application.

Long time no see – Long time no post. Well, wedding season kicked in this month for me & that too close friend & family members were having their big day. Last week I was attending one of my close friend’s wedding in Mumbai and I thought of sharing the story here – Behind the scene stories with pictures 😉
Part 1 is dedicated to our Girl’s night out = Bachelorette Party.
Weddings are great fun and this one was no exception. We stayed the night at a hotel since we knew there was lot to catch up on and lot to do. After dressing up we got drinks on the house as a gesture from our hotel for the Bride & her girls *win-win situation*. Later that night we drove down to Four Seasons Hotel – AER Lounge. A gorgeous roof top lounge which was perfect for the night and the view was breathtaking.

Ofcourse a room selfie before heading out is a must!

Once we got back to our room we got into our PJ’s and had a late girlie night gossip session. By end of the night I made two new gorgeous friends for life 🙂
Can’t wait to show you more pictures of this amazing Indian wedding. Part 2 coming soon 🙂

I am obsessed with this brush.
This brush has a dual purpose use for me. I use it to apply eyeliner & to fill in my brows. Funnily enough I did not purchase this brush rather it found its way in my makeup kit.
I received this brush free when I bought a smashbox kit. Clearly this brush was not in my radar of “To buy” but BOY am I happy once I got hold of it.
It’s an amazing tool to work with because of its “arch”. While creating a perfect winged liner or a thick liner or a thin liner look this does not block the view while applying the product and therefore gets all my vote.
For my everyday Eyeliner look I use the Maybelline’s Gel Eyeliner & to fill my brows I have been using The Body Shop’s Brow & Liner Kit

Since my skin fell in love with acne few years ago I had to figure out ways to make it look presentable/flawless somehow. And oh did I mention my eyes have rented the area below them to “dark circles”? To combat such a love story I had to turn to consistent skincare regime and makeup tips & tricks.
Few months back I did a lot of research for covering my blemishes / dark spots / hyper pigmentation / dark circles. After which I realized to cover any darkness an orange corrector is helpful especially if you have brown/dark/olive skin tone. Infact, my bridal makeup artist introduced me to Mac’s Pure Orange Studio Finish Skin Corrector. She applied it on me and I can say it was love at first APPLY.

The foundation that I have been obsessed with is Make Up Forever HD Foundation (Shade #170)

Have you tried any corrector? What has been your experience ?
I Love Mascaras (period) For me a mascara, sunscreen & a lip balm is all one need to head out of the door. ( Obviously, one can be daring enough to do this if one is blessed with good skin) I have tried a lot of mascaras in the past, but lately one of the drugstore mascara is taking my breath away. Max Factor Clump Defy False Lash Effect. I love this stuff. Let the pictures tell you why : Continue reading
Recently a friend enquired me about a particular face wash she wanted to try mainly due to ugly blemishes knocking her skin “door”. After speaking with her for a while I found out she wasn’t really using any toner – Aha – that was a perfect opportunity for me to explain why she should start using it rather than investing in other new products. Say Hello to“The Green Face Monster”
Time and again I head straight for this look aka apply one of my essential face mask of all time that helps me deal with my amazingly cooperative (sarcasm) skin.
I have been suffering from hormonal acne for past 4 years which has resulted in me hunting for a lot of commercial or natural products. These interesting 4 years taught me a thing or two about skincare (visits to dermatologist + internet search + internal voice have added to this skincare knowledge reservoir)
The Body Shop : Tea Tree Face Mask is one of the first products that I tried when hormonal acne hit my once clear skin. The term clear skin now haunts me everyday & night. Any one who has suffered from acne will understand the pain of not having clear skin 😦 It surely brings one’s confidence way below bar.
But guess what – You gats to deal with what you gats to deal!! (there goes my inner preacher preaching)
